Lorenzo Arnal Vallés was born in Huesca, Spain in 1994. In 2016 he completed his Bachelor of Chemistry at the University of Zaragoza. In 2017, he completed his Master of Química Molecular y Catálisis Homogénea” in the ISQCH (Instituto de Síntesis Quimica y Catálisis Homogénea, UZ-CSIC).

In 2023, he completed his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at University of Zaragoza under the supervision of Prof. Violeta Sicilia and Dr. Sara Fuertes.

During his PhD, he was involved in projects of organometallic chemistry and  photochemistry. Also, he spent 3 months as visiting PhD in the KU Leuven under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Escudero learning theoretical calculations .

In 2023, he moved to Milan to join the Luisa De Cola’s lab.
