Program-Material is a network for the exchange of research and innovation personnel dedicated to expanding the frontiers of nanomaterials and nanotechnology by introducing protein-controlled integrated behaviors. Our main objective is to create hybrid nanostructured materials characterized by precise structures, functional behaviors, and spatiotemporal properties directly regulated by specific proteins. By incorporating components of synthetic biology, these materials will be able to perform custom chemical or biological functions driven by selected proteins. This innovation holds enormous potential for applications in biomedical and healthcare contexts.
